Grace Erline loved life and she loved learning. Curious, vibrant, bold, and thoughtful, she lived her life to the fullest by pursuing her education with drive and tenacity, and by traveling and having adventures as much as possible. We want to offer young women the chance to live Grace's legacy with two scholarship opportunities - The Girls Gone Great Scholarship for education, and the Live An Amazing Life Grant for adventure. 

All applicants must submit an online application in order to be considered. Applicants must be willing to stay in touch with the GEMS committee and become part of our community to support and encourage future applicants and attend events.

2024-2025 APPLICATION PERIOD OPEN NOVEMBER 16, 2024 - FEBRUARY 28, 2025.

The Girls Gone Great Educational Scholarship
Applicants must be women living in the state of Maryland between the ages of 17-24, attending or planning to attend a 4-year college/university (or transferring from a 2-year to a 4-year institution). 

The Live An Amazing Life Adventure Grant
Applicants must be women living in the state of Maryland between the ages of 18-30, with a plan to have an adventure (including justification, detailed budget, and willingness to report back on results). Adventures might include taking a class, traveling, attending an internship, fellowship, or volunteer program, doing research, or many other opportunities - just propose your own!
